Kian Ash is the IPPY Book Award-winning author of The Pacific Between. Having studied creative writing at ULCA, Kian’s been published in The Asian-American Anthology, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Writers Post Journal, the Cincinnati Enquirer, Stories of Strength, New Voices Anthology of Short Plays, and Actors Ink. He is also a songwriter and actor. His other works include Ascendra (music album) and Oscar-nominated Roommates (feature film). He is currently composing for a new musical, with a staged reading planned for February, 2026.
